Azure $200 credit for eligible new customers

Microsoft grants eligible new customers a $200 Azure credit that can be spent during the first 30 days of the account. It is limited to one offer per new customer.

Signup requires verification by phone and with an eligible credit or debit card. Microsoft notes that a temporary authorisation hold of roughly one dollar may appear against the card as part of that check.

No charge is made for usage covered by the credit. Billing only begins if you choose to move the account onto pay-as-you-go pricing.

Because the window is short, plan what you intend to test before you activate the account rather than after.
